About This Simulation
This simulator demonstrates two types of rigid body motion: pure translation (where all points move with the same velocity) and combined translation and rotation (where the body moves while also spinning). The rigid body maintains its shape throughout the motion. Point O represents the center of mass, and P represents an arbitrary point on the body.
