Circuit Analysis
This simulation solves the bridge circuit using Kirchhoff's laws:
Kirchhoff's Voltage Law (KVL)
The sum of all voltages around any closed loop in a circuit must equal zero.
For loop ABDA: 10I₂ + 5I₄ - 5I₃ = 0 ⇒ I₃ = 2I₂ + I₄
For loop BCDB: 5(I₂ - I₄) - 10(I₃ + I₄) - 5I₄ = 0 ⇒ I₂ = 2I₃ + 4I₄
Kirchhoff's Current Law (KCL)
The sum of all currents entering a node must equal the sum of all currents leaving that node.
At node A: I₁ = I₂ + I₃
At node B: I₂ = (I₂ - I₄) + I₄
Solution
Solving these equations simultaneously gives:
I₄ = -2/17 A ≈ -0.118 A
I₃ = 6/17 A ≈ 0.353 A
I₂ = 4/17 A ≈ 0.235 A
I₁ = 10/17 A ≈ 0.588 A
