Malus' Law
When polarized light of intensity I₀ passes through a polarizer, the transmitted intensity I is given by:
I = I₀ cos²θ
Where θ is the angle between the light's polarization direction and the polarizer's axis.
In this simulation, Polarizer 1 creates polarized light from unpolarized light (reducing intensity by 50%), and Polarizer 2 demonstrates Malus' Law.
