Physics of Prism Refraction
When light passes through a prism, it undergoes refraction at both surfaces. The angle of minimum deviation (δm) occurs when the angle of incidence equals the angle of emergence.

Where:
- μ = Refractive index of prism material relative to surrounding medium
- A = Angle of the prism (apex angle)
