Induced EMF Calculation

The induced EMF in the small loop inside the solenoid is calculated using Faraday's Law:

ε = -dΦ/dt = -A × μ₀ × n × (di/dt)

Where:

  • ε = Induced EMF (V)
  • A = Area of the loop (2.0 cm² = 2 × 10⁻⁴ m²)
  • μ₀ = Permeability of free space (4π × 10⁻⁷ N/A²)
  • n = Number of turns per meter (1500 turns/m for 15 turns/cm)
  • di/dt = Rate of change of current (A/s)

Current induced EMF: 7.54 × 10⁻⁵ V
