Electric Field Line Properties
This simulation demonstrates two fundamental properties of electric field lines: continuity and non-intersection.
Key Properties of Electric Field Lines:
1. Continuity: Field lines are continuous curves because a charge experiences continuous force in an electric field. The charge doesn't jump between points, so field lines can't have sudden breaks.
2. Non-Intersection: Two field lines can never cross because that would imply two different electric field directions at the same point, which is physically impossible.
