Double-Slit Interference Simulation

Double-Slit Interference Simulation

This 3D simulation demonstrates Young's double-slit experiment. The fringe spacing is calculated using the formula:

β = Dλ/d

Where D is the slit-to-screen distance, λ is the wavelength, and d is the slit separation. In the example: (1m × 500nm)/1mm = 0.5mm.

Results:

Fringe spacing (β): 0.5 mm

Angular separation: 0.0005 radians

Calculation: (1.0 × 500)/1.0 = 500 nm·m/mm → 0.5 mm
