Physics Principle

This simulation demonstrates the conservation of momentum. The total momentum before firing is zero (system at rest). After firing, the momentum of the shell forward must be balanced by the momentum of the gun backward.

v₂ = -(m₁v₁)/m₂ (recoil velocity)
